​In Memorium | PEC celebrates Terry Kirkpatrick, longtime Instructor and Friend

Terry Kirkpatrick, longtime PEC instructor, passed away Friday, Aug. 17, 2018.

The safety industry lost one of its finest members with the recent passing of Terry Kirkpatrick, a longtime PEC Safety instructor and friend.

Terry was born on December 27, 1950 and raised in Randlett, O.K. He attended school in Burkburnett, Texas and enjoyed farming, hunting, and fishing. Terry worked as a Safety Consultant for many years; many at PEC remember his ability to make you feel like he was “smiling through the phone.”

He passed away Friday, Aug. 17, 2018.

He married Karen McNeely, who he spent many years with before his passing. Condolences may be sent to the family at

Terry’s impact on the safety industry goes beyond measure; with his bright smile and commitment to safety, his legacy will continue to shine. Terry will always be remembered as what a PEC safety trainer should be : dedicated to bringing workers home safe from high-hazard jobs.
